AMA about Paris with Katrina Powell

Lessons learned from the Paris Games with Katrina Powell from the Hockeyroos 🇦🇺

Following the Paris 2024 Games we’ll host several #AMA sessions with coaches who were at the Games so you can ask them your coaching questions…

Katrina Powell, head coach for the Hockeyroos or national women’s team of Australia, was the first to #sharetheknowledge with us on Friday August 30.

Katrina Powell

Katrina Powell is one of these coaches with an amazing track record as a player herself. Three Olympics Games resulted in two gold medals (Atlanta 1996 & Sydney 2000). With a World Cup gold in 1998 in between those Games to top that off. A playing career with 252 caps and 141 goals resulted in a coaching career at the highest level as well.

THS Katrina Powell

In 2021 she was appointed head coach of the Hockeyroos. She was the first female coach for this team in 43 years…

Paris 2024

By now the Games are over and we can review what went well and what could have been better. We believe '“asking questions is the best way of learning”. A quote I stole from Jamilon Mülders in an earlier masterclass for us. So the coaches who could join us for this live session could ask Katrina Powell their own questions about coaching in general and about the Paris Games obviously.

See it live or on demand

As usual if you join one of our live sessions live it’s free, if you want to watch it afterwards on demand, you need to be a member.
