Life is a train station. People get on. People get off. Some ride with you for a stop. Others, a few stations. Only a few the whole journey. Don’t grip too tight. Don’t beg them to stay. Their stop might not be yours. And that’s okay. Because every goodbye makes room on the bench. For someone who’s meant to ride further.
Keep going. Keep building. Because no matter how long it takes — your patience, your effort, your discipline. It will all be worth it.
Discipline yourself to ask young people their opinions and respect their opinions. It doesn’t mean you have to agree with it.
Pause and ask yourself: Is this how I truly want to live this moment?
