For coaches interested in finding out what will be the next revolution in hockey… Non-irrigated artificial grass pitches. The FIH has proclaimed it wants the 2026 World Cup to be the first major event on this new surface… Mind you the surface does not “exist” yet. But we’re getting close. Different turf producers will install the first testing pitches in 2023 to start finetuning based on real life feedback. But for now, we brought together a panel to discuss what’s happening…

His main message was hockey can be played on any surface. A message I support with all of my heart and is a key factor, I believe, in growing the sport world…
